The Boogie Woogie Monster
The Boogie Woogie Monster is a children’s illustrated story of a child, Moe, and the scary monster that lives in his family house. It is written using structures and rhyme patterns commonly seen in hip hop (syllable matching; multi-syllable rhymes; slant-rhymes) but using language appropriate for young children. The illustrations nod to (or "remix" ) famous parts the golden era of hip hop (the 1990s) and associated culture.
